Day one

With a comfort stop on the journey, we travel down to our ferry across to the Isle of Wight before the short trip to our hotel on the east side of the island where we are welcomed with tea and coffee.

Day two

In the morning we make our way to what was once Queen Victoria’s palatial seaside home, Osborne House, where we enjoy exploring the private apartments and staterooms. There’s plenty to see and explore before we return to the hotel for our evening meal.

Day three

After breakfast, we head to Ryde to enjoy its shopping streets and attractions. In the afternoon we journey to visit the charming seaside resort of Sandown, before visiting the centre of Shanklin – close to our hotel – with its glorious long wide sandy beach set against a backdrop of dramatic sandstone cliffs.

Day four

This morning we have an excursion across to the west side of the island to the famous Needles chairlift and the Needles Rocks and Trinity Lighthouse (additional charges may apply). Alternatively, enjoy more time at leisure in Shanklin, where the hotel is based, with plenty of beautiful walking routes.

On our final day we enjoy a leisurely breakfast before beginning our journey home.

Bourne Hall is an elegant, family run country house hotel and restaurant set in beautiful grounds just half a mile from the centre of Shanklin. The hotel is in an elevated position at the foot of Luccombe Downs, allowing it to enjoy exquisite views all day and night across Sandown and Shanklin Bay, and onwards to Culver Downs. Please note, stairs are required to access most rooms.

Deposits for holidays are as follows:

Value £70-£100pp - £25pp deposit

Value £100-£500pp - £50pp deposit

Value over £500pp - £75pp deposit

The full balance of holidays is due at least 6 weeks before the trip. Bookings made within 6 weeks must be paid in full at the time of booking.
