Day one

We travel up to our hotel in Scotland where we are welcomed with tea, coffee and scones on arrival.

Day two

Today we take a cruise on the beautiful Loch Katrine and admire the amazing landscapes which surround us. Loch Katrine has drawn tourists for hundreds of years, ever since Sir Walter Scott’s vivid descriptions inspired a generation of Victorian tourists to visit the loch to see the landscape for themselves.

Day three

This morning we visit Glengoyne, a picture-postcard whisky distillery, to learn more about the history of Glengoyne and taste some delicious spirits. We then travel to the Scottish Wool Centre in Aberfoyle, known as the gateway to the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. It sits in the shadow of Craigmore hill and offers dog and duck shows and walks around outside paddocks with sheep, goats and Merlin the miniature horse.

Day four

Today we visit Falkirk Wheel, a fantastic day out with a difference and accessible to everyone! With boat trips, a cafe, gift shop, mini-canal and woodland walks, there really is something for everyone. We then travel to the city of Glasgow where we have free time to explore.

Day five

On our final day we enjoy a leisurely breakfast before starting our journey home, with a couple of comfort stops along the way.
