Oxford Short Stay

A historic break to the university city of Oxford, packed with honey-gold buildings and dreaming spires in a riverside setting.

Day one

Today we travel to our hotel, based just north of the city of Oxford, where we are welcomed with tea and coffee on arrival. We spend some time getting to know Oxford this afternoon.

Day two

This morning we visit the historic university city of Oxford with its honey-gold buildings, dreaming spires and riverside setting. Take an open top bus or walking tour of the city (not included) and learn more about its history and famous landmarks. Attractions include beautiful Christ Church College (entrance to colleges is subject to availability) where many distinguished people have studied. More recently the colleges have become famous for their connection to the Harry Potter films.

Day three

After a leisurely breakfast, we spend our final morning back in Oxford before heading home after lunch.

The hotel is wonderfully located for the short journey into Oxford, and is also just next to the park and ride with regular buses into the city allowing freedom to explore in this short break. Rooms including free WiFi and the restaurant offers delicious food.

The full balance of holidays is due at least 6 weeks before the trip. Bookings made within 6 weeks must be paid in full at the time of booking.
